    We are so glad to inform you that 7th National Congress of Neurosurgery will be held from October 16th to 18th in Shanghai. On behalf on committee, I’d like to extend my sincere invitation to you to participate the congress. Ranked the first-class academic meeting in neurosurgery in China, this congress is really a great gathering of outstanding experts, professors and neurosurgeons in neurosurgery. Not only the number of participants but also the academic exchange makes this congress a pageant in neurosurgery, which will be conducted in terms of keynote speech, paper exchange, panel discussion and wall paper.

    Therefore, it is an excellent stage for us to show our achievements in the 7th National Congress of Neurosurgery and to exchange and learn from each other. This congress will be hosted by Neurosurgery Branch of CMA, and undertaken by Neurosurgery Branch of Shanghai Medical Association and Shanghai Huashan Institute of Neurological Surgery (SHIN).

   My distinguished colleagues:

    7th National Congress of Neurosurgery will be held in this October in Shanghai China by Neurosurgery Branch of CMA, on the theme of “Mutual Learning & Progress Together”. Ever since 6th National Congress of Neurosurgery and 20 years anniversary of Neurosurgery Branch of CMA, the association has strengthened international academic exchange, finished authentication for neurosurgeons, published and promoted the regulation of neurosurgery in domestic market, and organized the academic exchange between China, Japan and Germany. The unity and academic democracy of neurosurgery cycle make young neurosurgeons gain a rapid growth, especially in international communication. We will discuss the latest achievements in this year’s congress to build a platform for newer neurosurgeons to make progress with their seniority.

    Experts in neurosurgery from home and aboard will be included in this congress to address us the most updated progress in neurosurgery and its relative fields. During the event, diverse meeting will be held to discuss the schedule in 2009 and how to provide a better service to neurosurgeons. Besides, topics with clinical practicability like medical tangle and relative measures will also be discussed, and I believe you will find the topic you interested in. Welcome to contribute your papers, participate in discussion and academic exchanges after event.

    It is the first time, ever since the establishment of CMA 20 years ago, to host the congress in Shanghai, the economic and finance center in China. Mr. Zhou Liangfu, the president of committee, and his colleagues have made enough preparations for this congress and relative events. We believe the 7th National Congress of Neurosurgery will be a great success. Look forward to meeting you in Shanghai in October and share our academic achievements together.
